    H2flow Controls is a growing global manufacturer of products for the pool and spa, oil and gas, water and wastewater, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, energy, process manufacturing, and other industry segments. Customers around the world use our products to more effectively control, protect and measure their machines and processes. Our company is poised to continue the trend that has seen us experience significant growth in each of the past three-years.

    We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer whose primary responsibilities will be in the research & development and technical support of new and existing products. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering and have 5+ years experience specifying and supporting flow measurement and electrical instrumentation products. Experience with various types of flow measurement products (e.g., Electromagnetic, Coriolis, Vortex, Ultrasonic, etc.) is required, and an intimate knowledge of different types of industrial applications is strongly preferred.

    The candidate should be capable of collaborating with others in a team-oriented setting in order establish best practices and achieve common goals.

    Responsibilities

    - Key part of R&D and engineering team for current and future product development projects

    - Take lead on the development of technical documents such as product manuals, white papers, and writing of product specifications

    - Collaborate with marketing on the technical data required for certain materials, i.e., product brochures, case studies, and website content

    - Support and give direction to production team as needed

    - Analysis of returned products (RMAs)

    - Provide technical support to the sales team as needed

    - Field technical phone calls and emails from customers and company partners relating to flow meter and monitoring products

    - Involvement in technical analysis of potential new products / technologies that the company may consider either developing or branding

    - Maintain relationships with third-party laboratories such as NSF and UL on an on-going basis

    - Involvement in product training for company employees and partners

    - Approximate travel required 5-10%

    Qualifications

    - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering

    - 5+ years of relevant experience supporting instrumentation and flow measurement products

    - Strong proficiency or the aptitude to learn about typical product applications

    - Experience working on R&D projects desirable but not required

    - Proficiency using CAD or other similar industrial design programs is preferred but not required

    - Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must; technical writing experience preferred but not necessary

    - Must possess excellent troubleshooting / problem-solving skills

    - Ability to think creatively is strongly desirable

    - Should be reliable and have a team-first mentality

    - Should have an energetic personality with a growth-driven mindset

    - Ability – and desire – to learn new skills as needed
