    This role involves answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, conducting training, and creating documentation to support electro-mechanical products. The candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the company, performing tasks such as troubleshooting, to ensure customer satisfaction and success with the products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing support through various channels such as email and phone.

    • Troubleshooting product issues and collaborating with engineering and other teams to resolve problems.

    • Creating and maintaining documentation that outlines product usage instructions.

    • Creating and maintaining documentation that logs customer issues.

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the company, including sales and marketing, to assist in product demonstrations and promotions.

    • Analyzing customer feedback and product usage metrics to identify areas for improvement.

    • Participating in beta testing for new product releases to identify and address any issues before official release.

    • Assist the production department with product assembly as needed.

    • Flexibility to attend industry tradeshows, if required.

    To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

    • Technical knowledge of the company’s products, including but not limited to, pumps, flow meters, autofill systems, and power monitors, and the technical aspects of each.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve customer-reported issues.

    • Understanding of technical, electrical and mechanical products and their operation.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.

    • A customer service orientation, including patience and empathy, to handle customer concerns professionally.

    • Documentation skills to create and maintain comprehensive production documentation.

    • Strong attention to detail in both spoken and written communication.

    • Continuous learning to stay updated with the latest product developments and industry trends.

    • Understanding of electrical and mechanical products are required.

    • A basic understanding of WiFi and WiFi setup, as well as communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Modbus, and RS485 is preferred.

    • Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple customer inquiries efficiently.

    • Prior experience with any of the swimming pool industry and associated technologies will be considered but are not a requirement.

    • Ability to collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment considered a must.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

    H2flow Controls is seeking a motivated Engineer with a growth-mindset to join our growing team and help drive the development of innovative pool and water-management technologies. This on-site role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to go above and beyond to deliver high-quality results. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product design, testing, and continuous improvement, taking ownership of challenges from concept through execution. At H2flow, we value engineers who are not only technically capable, but who also bring energy, accountability, and a team-first mindset to everything they do.

    This is a full-time, on-site position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineers, designers, and technicians) to develop and iterate on product prototypes from concept to production.

    • Oversee and direct external contract engineers employed by the company to ensure tasks are completed to acceptable standards and within required timeframes.

    • Design and optimize components for manufacturability, ensuring seamless transition from prototype to scalable production.

    • Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.

    • Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus for hardware systems and IoT devices.

    • Prototype components using 3D printing technologies, iterating designs based on testing and feedback.

    • Assist in project management tasks, including timeline tracking, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time delivery.

    • Conduct design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

    • Support testing and validation processes to meet industry standards and performance requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    • 1-5 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates with strong internships or academic projects will also be considered).

    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).

    • Hands-on experience with design for production (DFP) principles, including material selection, tolerances, and assembly processes.

    • Familiarity with Modbus protocol for industrial automation and device integration.

    • Basic knowledge of Arduino IDE and embedded systems.

    • Experience with 3D printing technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA) and rapid prototyping workflows.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.

    • Excellent communication skills for documenting designs and presenting ideas.

    • Experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

    • Knowledge of additional manufacturing processes, such as CNC machining or injection molding.

    • Exposure to electronics integration, sensors, or embedded systems.

    • Passion for control systems, flow measurement, and emerging industrial technologies.
